Mike graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 1981, with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. In 1983 he became a Registered Representative for John Hancock.
Mike focuses on the financial needs of individuals, families and small businesses. For individuals and families, Mike specializes in pre and post retirement planning, life insurance, estate and wealth transfer planning, and Long Term Care planning. For business clients, Mike works with companies to develop and maintain benefits for employees and owners.

Mike and his wife Beth have three daughters living in the area with spouses, dogs, and grandchildren.
